Leesa Burriss, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Adult Attachment and Trauma Specialist
Growing up in Oklahoma and Texas and then living the last 15 years in the beautiful state of Utah, has given me a unique perspective to the culture. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Utah and then went on to get my Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University.
I decided to go into therapy because I have experienced pain in my own life and have been able to find purpose and joy in the midst of it. We all have a story and I would feel honored to walk with you through the pain to finding joy in the midst of your story.
I believe that healing and wholeness happen in relationship. I look forward to joining with you in this journey of life and hope.
Where I find my connection: My family, God, nature, skiing with friends and family, hiking with my 2 dogs, and sitting with my cat while reading a good book.
"As you become Rooted inside and live from the depth of your being, you'll be able to rise taller and stronger than you ever thought was possible."
